James Reinstein – Chief Executive Officer

James has more than 25 years of medical device experience.  In that period, he led private companies such as Drawbridge Health and Aptus Endosystems as their President, CEO and member of the board of directors.  Most recently, James was the President, CEO and board member of Cutera, Inc., a NASDAQ listed global device company operating in the medical aesthetics space. He also led the turn-around at Cyberonics where he was the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer. James spent 17 years at Boston Scientific in various roles and functions including business development, marketing and general management. Most of his career at Boston Scientific was spent working and living in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Additionally, Mr. Reinstein has served as board director for several medical companies to include publicly traded Mainstay Medical located in Dublin, Ireland and Pixium-Vision based in Paris, France as well as Monteris Medical, a privately held company located in Minnesota.

James began his professional career with Proctor & Gamble after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing (BA) degree from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia in Athens.  He also completed graduate studies at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Todd G. Johnson, MBA, JD – Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel

Todd has been with Previvo since 2014.  He has served with Previvo as a Board Director, Chair of the Compensation Committee, Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Secretary, and General Counsel. Todd brings industry and executive leadership experience to his roles at Previvo. Todd’s industry experience includes start-up and publicly traded medical device (Abbott Labs and Ventana) and medical service (LabCorp, LABS, Biocept) companies.  As an accomplished commercial and operational leader, Todd most recently served as CEO of LABS, a medical service laboratory, which was acquired by Eurofins.

Besides his role as CEO, Todd held roles as Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Officer, Vice-President of Commercial Operations, and Director of Marketing. Todd has lead teams with over 160 personnel and revenue exceeding $500 million. Additionally, Todd has served as board director for several medical companies.  Prior to Todd’s corporate positions, he served as a pilot and intelligence officer in the United States Army.

Todd received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the United States Military Academy (West Point), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University, and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Denver University-Sturm College of Law with an American Bar Association certificate in Corporate & Commercial law.  Todd is an attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona & Colorado and is registered in-house counsel in California. Todd specializes his legal practice in securities and corporate transactions.

Bryan Wilson, MBA – Senior Vice President Finance & Human Resources

For over 30 years, Bryan has been directly working to optimize financial teams and operations for both public and private companies. In 2013, prior to joining Previvo Genetics, he founded Total Treasury & Tax, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in building “best-in-class” financial infrastructure for small to mid-sized companies.

Bryan has also worked as Vice President and Corporate Treasurer for Wind River, Inc. (now an INTEL company), and Grass Valley LLC (now a BELDON company). Throughout his career, Bryan has worked in progressively responsible positions at E*Trade, American Express, and The Federal Reserve Bank.

Bryan has a BS degree from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Westminster College, both in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gheda Sahyun, MA – Vice President Clinical Affairs

Gheda brings to Previvo more than two decades of experience in Clinical and Medical Affairs in addition to Clinical Operations for both multi-national publicly traded corporations and venture-backed start-ups.

Gheda has led clinical programs which introduced global coronary and peripheral platforms in the U.S., European and Japanese markets for companies including Boston Scientific Corporation and Shockwave Medical Incorporated. During her time with Boston Scientific, she was influential in the clinical efforts leading to the launch of the Taxus Express paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system in Japan. Ms. Sahyun has also held management positions including Sr. Director of Clinical and Medical Affairs for EndoGastric Solutions and Director of Clinical Affairs for iScience Corporation. She started her career at Quintiles Corporation, a global CRO.

Gheda received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences and Master of Arts (MA) in Biochemistry from San Jose State University.

Bruce Addis – Vice President of Research, Design, and Engineering

Bruce joined Previvo in 2016 and has over 24 years working in the medical device industry with companies such as CorDynamix, Spinal Modulation, Proteus, and PneumRx. His leadership roles include Vice President of Engineering, Director of Research and Design, Principal Mechanical Engineer, and Project Manager.

Bruce has experience in bioabsorbable stents that facilitated vessel healing before bio-resorbing, orthopaedic minimally invasive tools, opthalmological implants, cardiac rhythm ablation catheters to eliminate errant heart signals, cerebrovascular protection, catheters, and neuro-modulation systems.  He has directed teams from R&D to commercialization.

Before medical devices, Bruce worked in Aerospace Engineering at defense and aviation companies for Lockheed Martin, Kaiser Aerospace, Litton Industries and United Airlines. Projects included General Dynamics F-16’s, Space Shuttle, Space Telescope, Military Strategic and Tactical Relay Satellite (MILSTAR), and Rolls Royce gas turbine engines.

Bruce studied Physics at Stanford University, and received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from San Jose State University.
